PMB Top Fitting Shell |

Here I show part of the methodology of fitting, which must start with a fitting garment for proper analysis. Most people do not achieve a perfect fit on the first try. As a result, this fitting process has taught me patience. These examples were done a few months before the "Sleeve Dilemma" pictures.
Here's my top fitting shell, and I only did the top part because I want to make a top soon. Is this good enough to "go for it?" I think it fits a lot better than I expected, probably because it was Gale who measured me.
This was made "fitted" with 4 inches chest ease and 1 inch waist ease. The neckline depth and width are each 0.25. Shoulder pad is set to 0. I think the front darts pretty much point to the correct place, approximately one inch short of the bust points. The neck is not too tight at all. I've gained a little in the waist since the measurements were taken. I'm more concerned about the shoulders than the waist, anyway. Other than that, what do I need to do? Please advise. Thanks!
And now, for the second fitting. I've pinned out 1/4-inch from the shoulders. What do you think now?
