Too-Simple Hair Towels |
Projects |
I made two "no-brainer" hair towels for myself not long after I moved to Florida.
I bought one yard of white woven terry cloth. I cut it across the middle, parallel to the original cut edges, so that the selvedges were cut in half. I serged all four cut edges and tied-off the thread tails.
Voila`! Two hair towels for short hair!
To use them I lean over forwards, place the middle of the length at the back of my head, twist the free ends together above my forehead, and place the twist on top of my head. This twisted part stays on top of my head almost long enough for me to dry my body. Sometimes the towel is draped around my neck as I dry my feet, but by then my hair is not dripping anymore.
